A chance meeting led Lauren and Thomas to their picture perfect Wyche Pavilion wedding!
These two met at Clemson as both were trying to get to class. Thomas decided to pause for a few seconds to hold the door for the cute girl behind him, and, as fate would have it, the two clicked instantly. Photographer Casey Hendrickson says, “As life would have it, they fell head over heels for each other!”
When the two were ready to take the next step in their relationship, Thomas planned a proposal with a uniquely Clemson twist.
He decided to take Lauren on a fateful in front of the President’s House, which, local legend promises, means you’ll marry the one you’re walking with. At the end of the path, Thomas dropped to one knee and proposed. Lauren immediately said yes, and they started to plan their big day at Wyche Pavilion.
A Wonderful Wyche Pavilion Wedding Day
“Their wedding day festivities took place in the heart of Greenville SC, all along the river. On their big day, these two took time to themselves to do something they've done their entire relationship - they wrote each other a note in their journals. Reading these secret messages to each other about their excitement for the day brought on tears and laughter.
“All of the borrowed/blue/old/new items came from the women in Lauren's family, and her mom, MOH, and grandmother were there to get her into her gown and celebrate with her. When the time came, Lauren walked down to Thomas, they said their vows, and made it all official in front of their best friends and family.
“The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away in the open air, eating all the desserts, and taking in all the special moments.”
