Before Linh and Andy's Vietnamese wedding, they met up with photographer Christa Mazak to capture their wedding party before the hustle and bustle of their big day.
Unlike traditional Western wedding tradition--where the bride and groom must not see one another until their ceremony begins--Vietnamese wedding tradition includes an elaborate series of ceremonies without the secrecy leading up to a big reveal.
Linh and Andy and their wedding party posed for their formal portraits in both the traditional Vietnamese Áo dài and their second changes of clothing, their American-style wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and suits.
"The bold colors, gold details, and her red wedding dress were so beautiful and represented their Vietnamese culture," says photographer Christa.
With dazzling colors in both sets of wedding attire, these wedding portraits pop against the serene garden background of Furman University.
