Under a bright blue sky last October, Erica and Will exchanged vows in their simple but oh-so-sweet Southern backyard wedding. The two have known one another in high school and started dating on their very last day of 12th grade, so their outdoor wedding at Erica's grandmother's house was the perfect step in their long relationship.
Since they've been in one another's lives for so long, their families were already close, but their wedding day seemed like the perfect time to create new traditions and remember old ones! Photographer Jessica Hunt recalls, "Their family was involved in every part of their wedding day, from the unique ceremony location to even having the same pianist who played for the bride’s parents’ wedding play for Will and Erica’s outdoor ceremony!"
Erica remembered her parents' wedding day by wearing her mom's veil, and the couple got ready for their big day at the same church where Erica's parents exchanged vows years before.
The casual, family-focused event culminated in a sunset ceremony backed by the gently rolling hills of Newberry. Afterwards, the couple and their guests headed to the Country Club of Newberry to party the night away!
