It's a vision in gold and teal!
For their Charleston wedding, Frances and Steven wanted an elegant, modern wedding centered around their ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. From Frances' crisp white gown decorated with lace to Steven's monochrome suit, their big day was bright and welcoming.
They promised their lives to one another in a moving church ceremony, then headed to White Point Garden in downtown Charleston for portraits. The groomsmen got to show off their unique contributions to their attire: quirky socks! Remembers photographer Cana McDonald, "Each one of them had socks that matched their personalities. Some were brightly colored, [and] others had Darth Vader or game controllers on them."
That fun-meets-modern feel followed them into their reception at Patriots Point, where the couple treated their guests to dinner and dancing. "They had jump ropes made out of glow sticks, and the perfect setup for a night full of dancing!" says photographer Cana. "Before too long it was time for them to drive off on their decorated golf cart!"
They ended the night--and started their new life together--with a run through a tunnel made of glow sticks and a sweet kiss!
