The importance of a bridal session lies in its simplicity: the bride and her photographer don't have to worry about guests waiting in the ceremony area or if the hairdresser is running an hour late. It's just a woman in love wearing the most beautiful dress of her life as she has those fleeting moments as a bride captured forever.
Just a few months ago, photographer Rebecca Hicks met her client Jessica at the stunning Ryan Nicholas Inn in Simpsonville. This Upstate landmark sprawls across 6 acres, and the B&B encompasses more than 10,000 square feet. If you're looking for an Upstate wedding venue that showcases serious Southern elegance, you can't do much better than this place!
Rebecca and Jessica wandered the venue as they worked their way through the bridal session. The results are a beautiful start of Jessica's big day, which we'll be featuring next week on the blog (so come back to see even more!).
"I never get tired of going [to the Ryan Nicholas Inn] for sessions, because it is a beautiful Southern mansion with unique antique decor and a beautiful grand staircase."
-Rebecca Hicks, photographer
