Sara and Gabe didn't set out to have a destination wedding in Charleston. It just happened that way!
They wanted something small and focused, but they couldn't find exactly what they were looking for in their backyard of Atlanta, Georgia. They set their sights a bit further a field and soon settled on an intimate Charleston wedding that matched their original vision.
With only 35 guests (and their sweet pup, Gigi!), the two exchanged vows in the heart of downtown Charleston: White Point Garden on the Battery offered scenic harbor views and majestic oak trees, all from their bandstand ceremony location.
They then invited their friends and family members to Upstairs at Midtown, a new venue perfect for smaller weddings and gatherings. According to their photographer Hannah Hicks, "Sara and Gabe really wanted more of an intimate setting surrounded by only their most favorite people and that's exactly what they got!"
These newlyweds recently left the Atlanta for West Hollywood, and while they might be living the West Coast dream now, they'll always have their sweet Southern wedding to remember the East Coast!
