For their Greenville wedding, Devyn and Eli wanted stunning locations that showcased the city’s history. They settled on Grace Church, which dates to the mid-1800s, and the Huguenot Loft, a part of Greenville’s original textile mills.
The couple, who met in a chance encounter while they were on vacation in college: they made the long distance relationship work while Devyn was at Clemson University and Eli was at the University of Kentucky.
Four years after their meeting in the Florida Keys, Eli asked Devyn for her hand in marriage, and they immediately started their wedding planning!
Along with planner Carrie Moore, the couple envisioned a modern wedding with a delicate touch. They used blush pink and navy as their color scheme, a classic combination that worked beautifully with both the church and reception space.
Says photographer Kendra Martin, “Between the details that Devyn did all by herself to the flowers and the much anticipated kiss, the day was perfect!”
