In the heart of Anderson’s historic district, The Bleckley Inn offers the perfect balance of homegrown charm and vintage downtown elegance. So, for their Upstate nuptials, Valerie and Matt invited their family and friends to experience one of the Electric City’s loveliest venues.
Thanks to the striking architecture of the courtyard ceremony space, the couple chose to keep the decorations simple, only using a pair of large flower arrangements to frame the altar.
The guests were treated to the harmonious music of a string quartet, who provided all of the music for the simple but moving ceremony.
Later, Valerie and Matt invited their guests into one of the Bleckley Inn’s reception spaces to celebrate. The highlight of the dining experience was an incredible cookie spread, a tradition in the groom’s family. This sweet treat was made even sweeter by the fact that several family members each baked a dozen cookies for guests to snack on.
